After some hacking attacks against the old WordPress release installation, I decided to upgrade to the latest release. Some of the previously used plugins are still in beta and have their tweaks. But, it was possible to recreate the old design.
The Design
With all this I tested some features, that didn’t work for me before. Now we have three columns and the design is much cleaner – more elegant.
The header logo got an update. You may recognize the difference. The Terminator is now on the right, the rendering much more realistic.
The next days I’ll update all texts so that they follow the new presentation layout.
The Content
With the new layout the content will shift a bit, too. The last year JavaServer Faces was the dominant presentation layer technology in this blog.
With Flex 3.0 and AIR 1.0 the tools and platform for the next generation presentation layer are on the horizon. I’ll combine this with 3D technology aspects that can help to get a humanized touch into the design.
